Child Care Providers: Child Care Food Program
Child care programs can increase revenue and get help offering nutritious meals and snacks by registering at CSC for the Child Care Food Program.
Children’s Services Center proudly sponsors the child care food program for its licensed family child care homes. This program is funded by The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and administrated by the Department of Health.
Licensed Providers Can Increase Their Income!
Child care providers increase their income when they participate in the Child Care Food Program by receiving reimbursements for two meals and one snack per child per day, offered to children in their care. In addition, child care providers receive nutritional information, meal planning ideas and recipes, training through workshops, menu planning and record keeping supplies.
To participate in the USDA food program through Children’s Services Center you must be a licensed family child care home provider and complete a training session. When the appropriate forms and training are completed and approved through the Department of Health you may begin to submit claims and reimbursement for meal served. The program locally serves Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton Counties.
