Child Care Providers: Child Care Resource and Referral Service
Child care programs can improve parents' awareness of their particular program by registering with the Child Care Resource and Referral Database . All legally operating Escambia County child care sites--including child care centers and family child care homes--are listed in the "Child Care Resource & Referral" Database (CCR&R). The information can be accessed locally by calling 595-5915 or email us.
Providers can also register their program's information with CSC by calling (850)595-5949. The free database offers parents, and the public, information on a program's location, hours of operation and other important information.
Through the Child Care Resource and Referral Program, CSC also offers area child care programs and interested parties information about licensing, accreditation, Gold Seal Status and School Readiness.
CSC provides many other services for area early learning educators, including technical assistance, CCRR database management, support and technical assistance to promote parent involvement, a provider resource room, help in establishing and maintaining the USDA food program, state-mandated and other trainings and distribution of informational publications.
There are no charges/fees associated with a provider listing in the Child Care Resource & Referral Database for referrals to your program. If you are asked to provide payment for a referral or for a listing in the CCR&R Database, please call the Agency for Workforce Innovation-Office of Early Learning, Child Care Resource and Referral Network Office at 1-866-357-3239.
