Get Involved: Our Wishlists

Children’s Services Center helps working families in Escambia County by providing parenting education and parenting resources.  Please help us in our efforts by donating any of the items below.  Cash donations are also always welcomed.

  • 2 rocking chairs to soothe babies in child care and model parenting skills for inexperienced parents
  • 4 child-themed area rugs for circle-time activities in child care 
  • Flat screen computer monitors to help staff, children, parents and child care workers improve their lives educationally and economically.
  • Carpeting to create more welcoming environments in our offices
  • Child safety latches for doors and toilets, outlet covers, baby gates and boppie pillows to help struggling parents keep their children safe.
  • Door prizes, refreshments and speakers for classes that empower burdened women with the skills they need to make it through hard times
  • Abundant volunteers to rock babies, play with children, share their  expertise, help with office work
  • 4 CD players with headphones so children can peacefully listen to uninterrupted stories and music
  • Funding to support the provision of Nurturing Parent classes so struggling parents can raise their children with greater success
  • Scores of books so infants, toddlers and preschool children can experience the joy of literacy
  • Monthly printing sponsorship of our unique parenting newsletter The Parenting Roadmap to help parents and children learn, play and create together
  • "QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions:  Nonprofit," accounting software, to help the organization run more efficiently and effectively
  • A dozen wooden puzzles for infants, toddlers and preschoolers to develop fine motor skills
