Child Care Training: Computer Training
Child Care workers can now learn important computer skills through APEX's new, AT&T Excelerator-funded computer lab. APEX received the 2007 AT&T Excelerator grant, which funds projects that use technology to help nonprofit organizations build stronger communities.
A technology classroom is now available with qualified staff who can provide hands-on training for basic computer applications such as word processing, PowerPoint presentations, searching the internet and more! Local child care providers may also learn how to use computers for online classes offered by APEX and by the Department of Children and Families.
